BRITISH, Anglo-Saxon. Transitional/Pre-Primary Phase. Circa 675-680. Pale AV Thrymsa – Shilling (Silver, 12 mm, 1.02 g, 9 h), 'Pada' series, mint in Kent. Diademed and draped bust to right. Rev. PADA (in Runic) Cross over saltire, arms terminating in annulets, pellet in center. Abramson 1.50. SCBI 63 (BM), 35-6. SCBC 770. Rare. Somewhat porous, otherwise, very fine.
